THE DREAM OF FLYING

Exploration between heaven and earth

In 1996, Louis Palmer started a flying expedition in Denver, Colorado, with the goal of flying around the Wild West of the United States and to see the world from above. With a speed of 60 km/h, he crossed the Rocky Mountains, the Salt Lake Desert and the Sierra Nevada, then he flew over Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay, then to Las Vegas and over the Colorado River back to Granby, Colorado. For this 6000 km flight, for overcoming many technical and cultural challenges, he received the prize of "Most Outstanding Flight of the Year" from the American Ultralight Association.
